FRIDAY, MARCH 7 - MONDAY, MARCH 10, 2008

Day 1, Friday, 3/7: Day 2, Saturday, 3/8:
  • Work with professional acting coach
  • Broadway matinee and Talk Back with cast*
  • Evening coaching session
  • Discover Times Square at night. Enjoy some free time and grab some dinner in the city that never sleeps!

Day 3, Sunday, 3/9:
  • Final brush ups with acting coach
  • Competition Begins
  • Join the BroadwayFest cast for Pizza and Panel Discussion: "The Life of a Working Actor"
  • Finalists announced
Day 4, Monday, 3/10:
  • Morning free time for groups in New York City (Finalists go to theatre)
  • Finalists do touch-up work with coaches
  • FINALS - perform for panel of judges made up of industry professionals at New World Stages
  • Closing Awards Party at Spotlight Live - Winners announced!


Competition Categories:
  • Comedic Monologue (Classical or Contemporary) -- 3 minute limit
  • Dramatic Monologue (Classical or Contemporary) -- 3 minute limit
  • Comedic 2-Person Scene (Classical or Contemporary) -- 5 minute limit
  • Dramatic 2-Person Scene (Classical or Contemporary) -- 5 minute limit
  • Vocal Performance (Broadway/Off Broadway) -- 3 minute limit

  • 4-Night stay in The Sheraton New York Hotel & Towers (Quad Occupancy)*
  • 2-3 days of rehearsal with Acting Coaches
  • 1 Broadway Show with Cast Talk Back**
  • 1 Panel Discussion
  • 2 Dinners (Pizza Party & Closing Dinner)
  • 1 Day Admission to New World Stages
  • Industry Professionals as Judging Panel

*Price per person is based on 4 people per room. If there are less than 4 people per room, price per person will increase. Please see our registration packet for more information.

  • Students (Competition Participants): $960.00
  • Adults (Chaperones): $660.00
  • Teachers (Not Lead Teachers): $480.00
  • Lead Teachers (10 students or more): FREE!
*Prices do not include travel to and from NYC, Times Square.
